Arsene Wenger Arsenal manager questions Manchester United's £36m Martial signing

Arsene Wenger thinks £36m signing of Anthony Martial is a risky investment for Manchester United

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has questioned Manchester United' s signing of 19-year-old French striker Anthony Martial for £36m.
Louis van Gaal completed the signing of the Monaco striker on deadline day and Wenger thinks that sum is huge for a 19-year-old. Martial, 19, became the most expensive teenager in history when he signed for Manchester United .
" Martial scored 11 goals in the French championship — that sums it up well ," at the
UEFA's elite coach forum in Nyon.
" Martial is a huge talent — he is 19 years old — but the investment is absolutely huge as well .
" It just shows that there are not many players in the world who can strengthen these teams .
The Arsenal manager has been under fire from the club's fans for his inactivity in the transfer market.
Arsenal is the only club in Europe's top five league not to sign an outfield player this summer, getting just Petr Cech , a goalkeeper from Chelsea .
But Wenger is defiant about it revealing that he is happy with the squad he has at his disposal.
" Am I happy with the investment I make? Yes,
every time ," Wenger said.
" I bought (Alexis) Sanchez, I bought (Mesut) Ozil,
I bought Cech, I bought Gabriel last year .
" The problem at the moment is finding the players who guarantee you are a better team after, and that example last night shows you very well ,’
Wenger said referencing Manchester United's signing of Martial.
