A young Saudi wife has divorced her husband because he is too short.The pair have split up after just seven months of marriage as the 20-year-old woman says she can no longer bear to be teased for towering over him. According to Gulf News,she claimed in legal documents the height difference had made her "painfully uneasy" and "distressingly uncomfortable".
The couple have not been named and their exact dimensions are unknown.The endowment department in Al Qatif, eastern Saudi Arabia, said the grounds for the split were "peculiar", .
On social media many have questioned why she agreed to marry the man in the first place if this was such an issue to her.
