President Obama Crashes Couple's Golf Course Wedding in San Diego (Photos)

Showing up to a wedding without an invitation from the bride and groom is a no-no, except you are President Obama.

While visiting California, US President Obama enjoyed a round of golf at Torrey Pines Golf Course in La Jolla, where couple Stephanie and Brian Tobe were about to tie the knot.

"We saw the two SUVs that were the Secret Service SUVs, so then we knew he was on the course," the groom told CNN affiliate KGTV.

There was a decision to be made.

"We got word that we needed to delay the ceremony or start immediately," Youngren said.

The couple opted to wait for the President to finish the 18th hole, and enjoyed champagne while trying to catch a glimpse of him.

After watching the president finish out, the couple ran up to Obama, who took pictures with them and members of their family.

“President Obama was kind and wonderful. When he shook Brian and Stephanie’s hands, he apologized for delaying the ceremony and then shared some advice with Brian (who is also from Chicago),” the couple’s photographers, Jeff and Erin Youngren, wrote on their blog.
